As a Ford Racing Powertrain System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complete powertrain systems from concept to production. You will need a strong knowledge of research processes, technology acceleration into production, and high-quality design principles.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead the conceptual layout and delivery of new complete powertrain systems.

- Manage program delivery of quality, cost, weight, function, and timing from concept through production.

- Coordinate with outside engineering and design resources.

- Interface with core technical specialists to ensure quality system design.

- Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure system feasibility and commercial viability.

- Manage technical complexities with neighboring systems.

- Support vehicle program/platform teams on functional performance attributes.

- Provide technical leadership for prototype builds and problem resolution.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in developing complete powertrain and underbody systems, with a focus on high-performance applications.

- Proven experience delivering multiple high-performance powertrain and underbody systems from concept to production.
