## Description

Join the engine room of Capital One’s customer experience as a Senior Associate Product Manager. You will lead mission-critical platforms that power billions of interactions, driving innovation that makes seamless banking possible.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Platform & Data Modernization: Partner with Tech and Data Engineering to decommission legacy systems and build robust data capabilities.

- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the MVP, prioritize the post-migration backlog, and build business cases for what your team should tackle next.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between Business Analysts, Tech, Ops, Risk, and Design to deliver transformative customer outcomes.

- Risk & Controls Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement modernized controls directly into the platform architecture.

You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including:

- Card Recoveries Platform: Deliver the next generation of the Recoveries platform, which is the foundation of Capital One’s $3 billion Recoveries business.

- Payments and Offers Capabilities: Empower customers to resolve outstanding balances and guide them toward sustainable credit health.

- Agent & Customer Assist Platform (AI & Servicing): Build and scale intelligent tooling that empowers agents and digital channels to assist millions of customers daily.

- Credit Bureau Disputes: Drive delivery for the Card Credit Bureau Disputes team, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and frictionless user experiences.

- Fraud & Disputes Back Office: Lead the strategy and delivery of the core backend technology that facilitates the intake, management, and resolution of customer problems.

In this role, you’ll learn the essentials of being a product manager and grow in four key areas:

- Human Centered: Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria and identify needs for additional research.

- Business Focused: Demonstrate a growth mindset and effectively use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure products deliver on real business needs.

- Technology Driven: Work autonomously in an agile environment to conduct research and develop features that utilize new and evolving technology.

- Transformational Leadership: Harness a network of trusted relationships among tech teams, designers, and stakeholders to articulate a succinct product roadmap.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or military experience

- At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

- 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products

- 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences

- 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process

Salary: Chicago, IL: $101,100 - $115,400 McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 New York, NY: $121,300 - $138,400 Richmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400
