## Description

The Gym Supervisor supports daily gym operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and high standards.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily gym activities, maintaining a clean, safe environment

- Support and motivate the fitness team

- Monitor gym equipment, report faults, and follow up on repairs

- Lead by example, interacting with members, and promoting a positive atmosphere

- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures

- Assist in member inductions, demonstrating equipment and advising on exercise techniques

- Organise and support fitness events and classes

- Uphold gym policies and etiquette standards

- Assist with rotas and cover shifts as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a fitness or gym supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of gym equipment and fitness floor operations

- Good understanding of health and safety, with First Aid and CPR certification

- Excellent communication and people skills

- Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification; Level 3 Personal Trainer desirable
