## Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will help shape the end-to-end Part D (pharmacy) benefits experience across Humana's digital ecosystem, enabling members to understand, access, and maximize their healthcare coverage with confidence.

Through exceptional design execution, user-centered thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, you will create intuitive experiences that simplify complex benefits information, support informed healthcare decisions, and improve members' ability to navigate care.

In this role, you will partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to design solutions that drive meaningful outcomes for members and the business.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and deliver end-to-end mobile and digital channel experiences that are human-centered, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

- Design and deliver end-to-end user experiences for Humana's Part D benefits products and services, ensuring solutions are human-centered and aligned with business objectives.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and research partners to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions that improve member engagement and effectiveness.

- Leverage user research, usability testing, analytics, behavioral data, and member feedback to inform design decisions and continuously optimize experiences.

- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate and validate design concepts.

- Advocate for mobile-first design principles, accessibility, inclusivity, and usability best practices across all digital channels.

- Partner with other Product and Design teams to create seamless, connected experiences across the broader healthcare ecosystem.

- Present design recommendations, insights, and rationale to stakeholders, driving alignment and influencing strategic decisions.

- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement within the design organization.

- Support and contribute to design systems, pattern libraries, and scalable design standards.

**Required Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Experience, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- 6+ years of professional product design or UX/UI design experience, with a strong balance of UX and UI expertise and demonstrated ownership of complex, consumer-facing digital products from discovery through launch and optimization.

- Portfolio demonstrating strong UX, interaction, and visual/UI design craft, including end-to-end case studies that showcase problem-solving, design decisions, polished interfaces, implementation, and measurable outcomes.

- Demonstrated experience designing mobile-first consumer experiences across native iOS, Android, and responsive web, with an understanding of platform-specific patterns and technical constraints.

- Strong systems-thinking skills with experience translating complex workflows, business rules, user needs, edge cases, and dependencies into intuitive, connected digital experiences.

- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including high-fidelity design, prototyping, reusable components, and working within or contributing to scalable design systems.

- Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, usability, accessibility/WCAG standards, and inclusive design practices.

- Experience leveraging user research, usability testing, qualitative and quantitative insights, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions, measure outcomes, and continuously improve experiences.

- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, and business stakeholders, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints while clearly communicating design strategy and rationale.

- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and design leadership, navigate ambiguity, establish design direction, influence stakeholders, and provide guidance and support to less-experienced designers while remaining hands-on in design execution.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience designing consumer digital products within healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, financial services, or another complex or highly regulated industry, including experience simplifying complex information into intuitive experiences that help consumers understand options and make informed decisions.

- Experience within Medicare, Medicare Part D, pharmacy benefits, PBM, digital pharmacy, medication management, or prescription fulfillment, and/or familiarity with concepts such as formularies, drug tiers, pharmacy networks, coverage stages, utilization management, and member cost-sharing.

- Experience designing accessible experiences for older adults, caregivers, individuals with disabilities, or populations with varying levels of digital and health literacy.

- Experience working within Agile product-development environments, partnering with engineering through implementation and design QA to ensure interaction, accessibility, responsiveness, and visual-design quality.

- Experience facilitating design critiques, discovery sessions, journey mapping, workshops, or stakeholder-alignment activities, and supporting the development of other designers.

- Familiarity with healthcare privacy, security, consent, and data-governance considerations, as well as experimentation methods such as concept testing, prototype validation, and A/B testing.

**Benefits**

Humana offers competitive benefits that support whole-person well-being, including medical, dental and vision benefits, 401(k) retirement savings plan, time off, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and many other opportunities.
