## Description

In this role within the Radiology Cybersecurity group, you will be tasked with securing Bayer Radiology medical devices and medical device software against potential cyber threats.

This includes reviewing cybersecurity vulnerabilities, assessing their likelihood of exploitation, and evaluating any potential impacts on the safety and effectiveness of Bayer Radiology medical devices.

You will also design and develop solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with Bayer Radiology medical devices, medical device software, and IT software products.

**Responsibilities**

- Review cybersecurity vulnerabilities and assess their likelihood of exploitation

- Evaluate potential impacts on the safety and effectiveness of Bayer Radiology medical devices

- Design and develop solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks

- Participate in cybersecurity design reviews

- Communicate work activities effectively

- Gather information from suppliers

**Requirements**

- High School Diploma/GED

- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity Engineering or related field

- Academic understanding of cybersecurity principles (2+ years)

- Working knowledge of PC computer operating systems, including Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Familiarity with vulnerability analysis, vulnerability testing, security risk analyses, and security assessments

- Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and associated tools (Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.)

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Prior internship experience at Bayer

- Prior cybersecurity internship experience

- Familiarity with cybersecurity incident response and investigations

- Familiarity with reviewing security architecture and designs

- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and standards such as NIST Framework, ISO 27001

**Salary and Benefits**

- Salary: approximately $24.00 to $45.50 per hour

- Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission
