## Description

We are seeking a Senior Presales Systems Engineer with deep expertise in networking, security, cloud architecture, and automation to support enterprise and federal customers across complex hybrid environments.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience across multi-vendor networking and security platforms, strong automation and cloud skills, and a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes.

**Responsibilities**

- Serve as the senior technical advisor for enterprise and federal customer engagements.

- Architect and deliver secure, scalable networking and security solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

- Lead customer workshops, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demonstrations, technical validations, and architecture sessions.

- Design and support solutions involving:

- EVPN/VXLAN

- MPLS

- BGP / OSPF / IS-IS

- IPv6

- SDN and network virtualization

- Zero Trust security architectures

- NAC / 802.1X

- IPSec / SSL VPN

- Microsegmentation

- Data center and campus networking

- Collaborate with sales teams and partners to develop technical strategy for complex opportunities.

- Develop automation workflows and tooling using technologies such as Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, and related DevOps frameworks.

- Deliver executive-level presentations and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Provide product feedback and field insight to engineering and product management teams.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical enablement initiatives.

**Desired Technical Background**

- Strong experience in several of the following areas:

- Networking & Infrastructure: Juniper, Cisco, Arista, VMware NSX, Palo Alto Networks

- Routing & Switching

- EVPN/VXLAN

- MPLS

- SDWAN

- Overlay networking

- Data center architectures

- Hybrid cloud networking

- Security: Zero Trust architectures, NAC / 802.1X, AAA / RADIUS, IPSec / SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, Segmentation and microsegmentation

- Cloud & Automation: AWS, Azure, and GCP, Infrastructure as Code, Python, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Automation and orchestration frameworks

**Qualifications**

- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, network architecture, security engineering, or related technical leadership roles.

- Strong consultative and customer-facing experience.

- Experience supporting enterprise, healthcare, federal, or service provider environments.

- Demonstrated success leading technical engagements and influencing strategic customer decisions.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

- Experience conducting customer workshops, technical roadshows, or enablement sessions.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
