## Description

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join our Target Printing Services (TPS) team. As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will provide exceptional service to TPS and its internal partners by supporting accounts receivable and internal billing processes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring accurate and timely billing, financial reconciliation, and closeout of completed print production projects

- Reviewing project costs, validating internal cost centre allocations, processing enterprise chargebacks, and resolving billing discrepancies

- Utilising SAP, Monarch, Ariba, and print fulfilment systems to review financial transactions, reconcile project information, and support accurate financial reporting

- Applying your understanding of accounting principles, job costing, and profit and loss statements to monitor financial activity, identify discrepancies, and support month-end and year-end close processes

- Partnering closely with Printing Services leaders, planners, production teams, and Finance partners to ensure accurate project billing and timely financial closeout

- Maintaining financial records, supporting internal controls and compliance requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve billing processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- High school diploma or equivalent experience; post-secondary education in accounting or a related field preferred

- Three or more years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, or related financial operations

- Ability to report to and perform job duties primarily on-site at a Target headquarters location

- Working knowledge of accounts receivable, general ledger transactions, financial reconciliation, cost centres, internal chargebacks, and profit and loss statements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP or comparable financial systems; ability to learn and navigate systems such as Monarch, Ariba, and print fulfilment applications

- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive financial deadlines

- Strong communication and partnership skills, with the ability to independently identify and resolve financial discrepancies, maintain accurate records, support financial controls, and work primarily on-site at a Target headquarters location
