## Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Japan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual and quarterly sales targets, managing relationships with distributors and channel customers, and driving sell-through growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out numbers between brand, distributors, and channel customers

- Controlling distributor and channel inventory levels, particularly for hot-selling products and aging stock

- Increasing brand reach by defining focus channel customers and extending brand shelves in stores

- Optimizing retail displays and leveraging distributor resources to improve brand awareness and drive demand generation

- Developing sales strategies and executing sell-through projects with channel buyers and distributors

- Building relationships with key channel customers and conducting regular on-site visits

- Gathering market information, including competitor analysis and market trends

- Providing product training to channel customers

- Managing distributor and channel margin structures

- Ensuring key channel customers honor pricing strategies

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 5 years of experience working in the Japanese retail industry

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- A customer-focused approach and openness to change

- Self-motivation and discipline

- Strategic thinking and operational performance management skills

- Proficiency in business-level Japanese and English or Chinese

- Ability to travel domestically for frequent on-site visits
