## Description

We are seeking a part-time Physical Education teacher to join our team at Alpine Academy, a college preparatory school located in Erda, Utah. As a PE teacher, you will be responsible for providing entertaining and upbeat exercise activities for our students, promoting physical health and well-being.

Alpine Academy serves students in grades 7-12 who require a supportive and therapeutic educational environment. Our students have various diagnoses, including ODD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and ASD. With small class sizes of no more than 12 students, we offer a nurturing and collaborative learning environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students in grades 7-12

- Teach physical education classes, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles

- Report on student progress and manage the classroom environment

- Collaborate with our treatment team to support student growth and development

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Ability to pass a background check

- Up-to-date TB Screening

- Willingness to work with youth in treatment and build rapport with students

- Desire to learn and use components of our treatment model, Teaching-Family Model

- Engaging and dynamic personality

Schedule:

- School hours: 8:00 AM - 2:40 PM

Compensation:

- Starting at $50,000 per year
