## Description

At Ford Motor Company, a leading American automaker, you will contribute to the manufacture of transmissions as a Launch Process Engineer at the Livonia Transmission Plant.

In this role, you will work on delivering lean, flexible, and competitive manufacturing systems for Ford Tough trucks and SUVs.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement gear and related round parts manufacturing systems for new powertrain programs in Michigan.

- Utilise machining process knowledge to optimise quality, costs, timing, and footprint.

- Support equipment installation, power-on, and handover to powertrain plants.

- Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve engineering and program delivery issues.

- Coordinate project-related items such as facilities, safety, and material handling.

- Support discrete event simulation for constraint analysis and work with Industrial Engineers to improve throughput.

- Travel up to 50% for assigned projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.

- 3+ years of engineering and manufacturing experience.

- Knowledge of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma.

- Proven customer-focused work record.
