## Description

The Groves Medical Group is seeking a Salaried GP for up to 6 sessions per week. The successful candidate will work at Vineyard Hill Road Surgery, providing general medical services, managing a clinical team, and ensuring high standards of care.

**Job Summary:** The role involves working Monday (1 session), Tuesday (2 sessions), Wednesday (2 sessions), and Friday (1 session). The practice offers a competitive salary, 6 weeks' annual leave + 2 NHS days + 1 week's study leave (pro-rata), a birthday gift with an additional day off, and parking available.

**Main Duties:**

- Provide a portfolio of general medical services

- Manage a clinical team and caseload

- Ensure clinical effectiveness and quality

- Develop effective team building and working relationships

- Take a lead role on CQC compliant projects and service development

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Clinical management of patients, including initiating investigations and making referrals

- Analyse and interpret history, symptoms, and diagnostic information

- Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately

- Formulate action plans based on scientific rationale and evidence-based standards

- Provide health promotion and disease prevention services

- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records

**Person Specification:**

- Qualified General Practitioner (CCT)

- Currently on a PCT performers list

- DBS clearance

- Annual NHS appraisal and evidence of professional development

- Excellent communication skills

- Working knowledge of MS Office Applications

- Experience of practice-based evidence-based approach to medicine

**Desirable Qualifications:**

- Evidence of further postgraduate educational activities

- MRCGP

- DCH

- DRCOG

- RCGP Substance Misuse Certificate

- Minor Surgery skills
