## Description

You will join a globally diverse and high-performing Finance function that plays a critical role in safeguarding the firm's financial health and enabling strategic decision-making. As Head of CoE Revenue Lifecycle Management, you will lead the transformation, standardisation and continuous improvement of the firm's billing, e-billing, client finance and client reporting functions, ensuring efficient, compliant and client-focused operations across the revenue lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Own and lead the firm’s global Revenue Lifecycle Management process and programme, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives, financial priorities and global regulatory requirements.

- Drive the continuous improvement, standardisation and optimisation of end-to-end revenue lifecycle processes, from matter inception through billing, revenue recognition and cash collection, enhancing efficiency, control and client experience.

- Partner with the CFO, Finance Leadership Team and senior business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives that improve financial performance, strengthen governance and support firmwide transformation.

- Lead the global billing and e-billing functions, establishing consistent standards, overseeing operational performance, and working closely with Technology, Compliance and client teams to support system enhancements and service excellence.

- Act as the firm’s subject matter expert for billing, revenue recognition and revenue-related policies, ensuring processes remain fit for purpose, compliant and aligned to evolving business needs.

- Develop and maintain robust revenue controls, performance metrics and service standards, proactively identifying and mitigating revenue leakage, operational risks and opportunities for improvement.

- Foster strong relationships with partners, practice groups, Finance Centres of Excellence, global revenue teams and shared service functions to drive billing discipline, working capital performance and adherence to best practice.

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing global team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning and innovation, while driving the adoption of automation, AI and digital solutions across revenue operations.

What we're looking for:

- Significant experience leading global billing or revenue operations within a professional services environment, ideally within the legal sector, with a proven track record of driving revenue optimisation, operational excellence and large-scale transformation initiatives.

- Strong expertise in billing, e-billing and client financial operations, with a detailed understanding of revenue lifecycle processes, financial controls and associated technologies.

- An accomplished people leader with experience managing and developing high-performing, geographically dispersed or multi-disciplinary teams, fostering engagement, accountability and continuous development.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to translate complex data and business challenges into practical, commercially focused solutions.

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to build consensus, challenge constructively and communicate effectively with senior leaders, partners and cross-functional teams.

What's on offer:

- This role can be based in our London offices, with a hybrid working model available.

- Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:

+ Health & Wellbeing: Private Medical Insurance, free in-house fitness centre and subsidised health club memberships, free onsite GP service and periodic health assessments. + Finance: Pension and flexible savings options, income protection and life assurance, mortgage advice and will-writing services. + Family & Lifestyle: Electric car and cycle to work schemes, emergency family care, additional holiday/birthday leave, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, travel insurance and season ticket loan, option to join sports and social clubs, as well as our employee networks groups.
