## Description

We are seeking a Radiographer to join the team at Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon, part of Circle Health Group. This bank role involves working on an 'as and when required' basis to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

The successful candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure high-quality images are produced, and provide a safe, dignified, and person-centred service to patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing diagnostic radiographic procedures such as general X-rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, and mobiles

- Ensuring high-quality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis

- Providing a safe, dignified, and person-centred service to patients

- Complying with IR(ME)R regulations, local rules, and departmental safety protocols

- Maintaining equipment and reporting faults promptly

- Working closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently

Applicants should have:

- A BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification

- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer

- Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment

- Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £31.20 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
