## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist in GTS Technology.

Principal responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement IT solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA to meet business requirements from global markets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and shape new functionalities.

- Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests, and provide support on system implementation.

- Participate in code reviews and continuous integration to maintain code quality and support frequent, reliable releases.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide teams toward practical, scalable solutions.

- Contribute to production support, root-cause analysis, and ongoing service improvements.

- Implement best practices and quality standards in project management and software development.

- Apply design patterns to create robust and scalable software architectures.

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders effectively.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues in solution proposals, system design, and implementation.

- Leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity across coding, testing, and migration.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with over 3 years of technology working experience.

- Solid knowledge and programming skills, particularly in Java and Spring Boot.

- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Maven, and RESTful API testing using tools like REST Assured and JUnit.

- Strong ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective technology solutions through collaboration with business stakeholders.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to influence business for technology-related decision-making which supports shared goals.

- Removes blockers and creates pathways during times of uncertainty to ensure resilience.

- Strong ability to mentor and provide necessary subject matter expertise to the team when required.

- Demonstrated ability in software design and familiarity with design patterns, and the ability to apply them effectively.

Additional skills will be good to have:

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high-quality results under tight schedules and high pressure.

- Stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking.

- Experience in financial services or global trade finance is preferred.

- Familiarity with AI toolings (e.g., HPS, GAIP, Copilot).
