## Description

We are seeking an Accredited Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be based primarily at the Denmark Hill site but will require some cross-site working.

The Vascular Lab at King's is one of the busiest in the UK, performing a complete set of vascular ultrasound investigations, including:

- Vascular access for dialysis fistula and mapping, including for endo-AVF

- Specialist work for diabetic foot, including pedal arterial and ultra-distal bypass graft surveillance

- Urgent scans for vasculitis, such as GCA pathways

- All the usual scans, such as peripheral arterial and venous, and carotid

The post holder will be expected to undertake, interpret, and report ultrasound scans and other tests for vascular conditions, working at the level of a fully qualified clinical vascular technologist. They will operate autonomously with the support of senior staff within the service.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to ongoing quality improvement and audit projects within the department, as well as the teaching and training of junior and trainee vascular scientists.

The salary for this post is £58,133 to £65,261 per year, with an additional £5,000 per year pro-rata R&R premium.

Benefits include:

- Training and mentorship to help you gain competency in examinations that are not currently within your scope

- Allocation of time away from direct patient care to participate in audit and project work

- Opportunities for teaching and training
