## Description

We are seeking a Containerization Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of related experience and will be responsible for:

- Building secure Docker images running Java-based or PHP-based applications

- Deploying containerized applications using package managers such as Helm to Kubernetes platforms

- Managing Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

- Creating build and deploy pipelines with Kubernetes-native tools like Tekton or GitLab CI/CD on OpenShift or other Kubernetes platforms

- Debugging production applications using a combination of operating system log files, enterprise logging systems, database queries in SQL, and application testing

- Providing high-level and low-level documentation and presentations

- Collaborating with customers and other technical teams

The ideal candidate will also have experience with:

- Tools for static code analysis, dependency vulnerability, package repositories, and performance testing tools

- Operations or programming experience supporting custom-build Java and/or PHP applications in production

- Automating deployments on virtual machines (VMs) with Ansible

- Federal government IT security standards

The likely salary range for this position is $116,025 - $156,975.
