## Description

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Lease Accounting to join the Infrastructure Accounting team.

In this role, you will execute day-to-day accounting for Anthropic's infrastructure lease portfolio , the leased assets underpinning a $50bn investment in American computing infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end accounting for Anthropic's AI infrastructure lease portfolio, including monthly close, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and flux analysis.

- Apply technical accounting expertise to complex infrastructure arrangements under ASC 842.

- Partner with Real Estate, Legal, and Finance teams during contract negotiation and execution.

- Serve as a trusted finance partner to non-finance stakeholders.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve upstream data pipelines.

- Design and scale systems, processes, and controls for a growing lease portfolio.

- Mentor accounting professionals across the Infrastructure Accounting team.

- Serve as a key point of contact with external auditors on lease accounting matters.

- Drive process improvements and automation.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.

- Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 842.

- Experience managing a significant lease portfolio in a high-growth environment.

- Analytical abilities and comfort working with large datasets.

- Track record of improving scalable financial processes.

- Experience mentoring and developing accounting professionals.

- Adept at translating technical accounting concepts into financial implications.

Preferred qualifications:

- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting.

- Experience at hyperscalers or large compute consumers.

- Exposure to infrastructure lease structures.

- Lease accounting software experience.

- SQL proficiency.

- Background in Big 4 accounting or advisory services.

The annual compensation range for this role is $190,000-$230,000 USD.
