## Description

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team at Zscaler. This is a Hybrid role reporting to the Senior Tax Manager in the Tax department. The Tax Manager will play a critical role within this team as an individual contributor, taking true ownership, working independently, and contributing deep expertise to support the company's financial integrity and compliance.

**Responsibilities**

- Prepare ASC 740 income tax provision for interim and annual SEC filings (10-K/10-Q)

- Collaborate with the broader finance organization to ensure tax transactions and legislation changes are documented and accounted for under ASC 740

- Manage the SOX control process and external financial statement audit for income tax provisions

- Assist in preparing the federal, state, and local income tax workpapers and review returns from external advisors, including quarterly estimated tax payments

- Drive automation initiatives to increase the efficiency of tax accounting processes and provide support for various company-wide financial system related projects

**Requirements**

- Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and corporate tax roles

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- Advanced Excel skills

- Proficiency in tax accounting and compliance with deep knowledge of ASC 740 and SOX controls

- Proven experience conducting comprehensive tax research and creating insightful analysis
