## Description

We are seeking a Tenable RHEL ACAS Administrator to join our team on the DISA GSM-O program in Alexandria, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the DISA J6 Pentagon's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) program.

The role involves system administration for all Tenable ACAS Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, performing systems analysis, modifying and updating Tenable applications, deploying applications and tools, and communicating updates to the Tenable ACAS Lead and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing RHEL servers for Tenable ACAS

- Providing performance tuning and troubleshooting for Tenable components

- Ensuring systems meet current and future standards

- Installing updates to Tenable software

- Deploying, maintaining, and tuning Tenable scanners, Nessus Managers, and Nessus Agents

- Developing and managing Tenable scan configurations

- Conducting scans and providing detailed reporting

- Resolving ACAS issues and making recommendations

- Performing monthly vulnerability scans and creating repositories, queries, and dashboards

- Investigating false positives and tracking them until resolution

The salary range for this position is $131,300.00 - $237,350.00.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior IT experience

- Experience working with RHEL OS, Tenable Security Center, and Tenable Nessus agents within the DoD environment

- Active Secret clearance or higher

- DoD 8570 IAT II certification

- Current RHEL certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

- Experience running ACAS on RHEL

- Hands-on experience with general RHEL administration and troubleshooting

- Demonstrated experience with multiple network security zones, subnetting, VRFs, and VLANs

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Cybersecurity experience within a Computer Incident Response organization

- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity threats, attacks, and methods of exploitation

- Experience with malware analysis concepts and methods

- Familiarity with Intelligence Driven Defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, and/or MITRE ATT&CK framework
