## Description

As a General Porter at Epsom Hospital, you will be responsible for moving patients, medical equipment, medical notes, and other items around the hospital.

This role can be physically demanding but is also incredibly rewarding, allowing staff to make a real difference to patient experience.

The ideal candidate will be caring, customer-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

**Main duties of the job:**

- Moving patients, medical equipment, and medical notes around the hospital

- Providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors

- Working flexibly to meet the needs of the hospital

**Requirements:**

- Numeracy and literacy skills

- Customer care focused

- Physically fit

- Ability to work flexibly

**Desirable qualifications:**

- BICSc Qualification / NVQ or equivalent

- Infection and Prevention Control

- Previous portering experience

**Terms and conditions:**

- This is a permanent, full-time role

- Salary: £15.42 per hour, including HCAS (not Agenda for Change)

- Interviews will be held in Epsom - dates TBC
