Join the Sentry team, which handles billions of network messages daily for Grab's users, ensuring the reliability of hundreds of Grab services.

As a Lead Software Engineer, Backend, you will build high-performing solutions that provide stability and efficiency for millions of daily users.

Responsibilities:

- Design scalable, zero-downtime network traffic routing and analytics solutions for Grab's public edge.

- Improve and shape new design architectures with a focus on scalability and performance.

- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to build back-end services.

- Design, build, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale systems.

- Debug and modify production software catering to millions of users across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 2 years of experience in a backend language such as Go, Scala, Java, or C++.

- Solid software engineering and coding skills.

- Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and message queuing systems.

- Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL.

- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.

- Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, and the internet.

- Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
