## Job Overview

You will lead Anthropic's targeted approach to higher education, focusing on research institutes and research-intensive universities. You will also support K12 staff and educators globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.

## Key Responsibilities

- Co-design research and education strategy, targeting research institutes and universities, and supporting K12 staff and educators

- Lead complex institutional deals, setting pursuit strategies and resolving hurdles like procurement and security reviews

- Direct and coach account executives working on education accounts

- Develop the institutional playbook for deploying AI in research settings

- Own the book's numbers, institutions reached, and expansion against goals

- Serve as the field voice for research and education inside Anthropic

## Requirements

- Education or research sales experience, with a background in selling software as a service into universities or research institutes

- Science background, with the ability to converse credibly with principal investigators about their research

- Sales leadership experience, having led a sales business end-to-end

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with research funding, grants, and institutional budgets

- Track record of landing institution-wide agreements at research-intensive universities

- Familiarity with AI usage in research settings and K12 classrooms

- Experience working with academic consortia, national labs, or research networks

- Annual salary: $380,000-$450,000 USD
