Vattenfall is looking for a Junior Wind Technician to join their team in Slootdorp, Netherlands.

As a Junior Wind Technician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to maintain wind turbines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the safe and optimal operation of their wind farms.

You will follow an extensive induction and training program, learning about:

- Performing maintenance on modern wind turbines;

- Recognising and resolving faults;

- Working with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems;

- Safe working at heights;

- Recording and reporting technical data;

- Collaborating in a close-knit team of technicians.

No prior experience in the wind energy sector is required. If you have a technical mindset, enjoy hands-on work, and are eager to learn, Vattenfall will invest in your development.

You will be based at the Prinses Ariane Wind Farm, which comprises 82 wind turbines and generates enough fossil-free electricity to power around 370,000 households.

Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance tasks on wind turbines;

- Troubleshoot technical issues;

- Work effectively in a team.

Requirements:

- Completed or nearing completion of an MBO level 3 or 4 technical education;

- Strong technical affinity;

- Willingness to learn;

- Good physical fitness;

- Ability to work at heights;

- Valid driver's license (B);

- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
