## Description

The Development Manager will oversee the delivery of game features and assets, ensuring timely completion within budget. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing a development team consisting of artists, software engineers, and external partners

- Anticipating bottlenecks, providing management escalation, project prioritisation, and making trade-offs

- Identifying team issues and suggesting solutions to improve efficiency

- Ensuring project setups meet studio specifications with regular status reporting and capacity plan updates

- Establishing engagement processes using Jira to define workflows and train staff

- Collaborating with production, QV, and art directors to meet game quality targets

The ideal candidate will have:

- 3+ years of project management or project lead experience with production lifecycles and processes

- A bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, game development, or business

- Experience in a Scrum/Agile software development environment

- Proven track record using Jira and Jaas to manage concurrent projects

- Experience working with expansive teams, mediation, and conflict resolution

- Experience managing outsource vendors and remote teams is considered an asset
