## Description

We are seeking a Steward Cleaner to join our team at JW Marriott in Hong Kong.

As a Steward Cleaner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, washing and disinfecting kitchen and store room areas, receiving deliveries, and storing perishables properly.

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools

- Washing and disinfecting kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment

- Receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotating stock

- Ensuring clean wares are stored in appropriate areas

- Using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes

- Inspecting, pulling, and stacking cleaned items, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing

- Cleaning and mopping all areas in assigned departments

- Disposing of glass in proper containers and breaking down cardboard boxes

You will also be required to follow all company and safety policies and procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager, and complete safety training and certifications.
