## Description

Transform technology into opportunity as an Information Systems Security Officer with GDIT. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of information systems assets and protecting systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform procedures to ensure the safety of information systems assets

- Monitor and analyze Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to identify security issues for remediation

- Conduct regular audits to ensure secure system operation and implementation of security policies and procedures

- Develop, test, and operate firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise antivirus systems, and software deployment tools

- Research, evaluate, test, and implement new security software or devices

- Implement, enforce, communicate, and develop security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and information systems security education/awareness programs

- Perform periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments

- Communicate alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications, and operating systems

**Requirements:**

- 3+ years of related experience

- TS/SCI w/Poly clearance

- Technical training, certification(s), or degree

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- US citizenship required

- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required
