## Description

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic team at Target. As a Food & Beverage Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for building a world-class sourcing and business partner strategy at the program, vendor, and facility level to drive optimal value within the Food and Beverage business.

Responsibilities:

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Build strong and influential relationships with Product Development and Design, Merchandising, Planning, Responsible Sourcing, and Food Safety teams to develop and source our owned brand food programs.

- Financial Results: Deliver on costing goals and drive financial results for the business. Build negotiation plans and understand varied negotiation levers to optimize value and outcomes across multiple business categories.

- Global/Business Partner Planning: Leverage a strong understanding of the global and domestic economic landscape, at both country of production and vendor/factory matrix levels. Assess vendor and factory capabilities to develop a sourcing strategy that delivers on strategic opportunities and Target's financial plans.

Requirements:

- 4-year degree

- 3-5 years of merchandising, sourcing, or inventory management experience, including vendor engagement/management; food and beverage experience preferred

- Demonstrated leadership skills

- Ability to think strategically and conceptually

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work effectively with varying groups of people globally, both internal and external, to achieve business results

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

- Strong analytical and financial skills

- Accountability to manage a broad range of products in different stages of development

- Ability to travel as needed
