## Description

As a Fiber Superintendent at SpaceXAI's Memphis data center, you'll oversee the coordination and supervision of fiber optic cabling installation, modification, and splicing. You'll work onsite with teams to ensure the network infrastructure is robust and reliable.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and schedule employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion

- Ensure contractors and subcontractors execute their scope of work

- Maintain quality of work by crews

- Complete projects on time and under budget

- Keep daily written logs and plot plans of job site activities

- Lead, direct, train, and supervise foremen and crews

- Promote and execute the company's safety program

- Work safely and responsibly

- Encourage teamwork

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience managing teams, preferably data center cabling technicians

- 3+ years of direct data center experience installing and routing optical fiber in large-scale Tier 3 or 4 facilities

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate

- Available to work evenings and weekends as needed

- Physical requirements: work in tight quarters, comfortable with noise exposure

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Journeyman certificate or postsecondary diploma/engineering degree in a related discipline

- Experience scheduling, managing, and understanding critical paths in Data Center projects

- Knowledge of Data Center commissioning processes and best practices

- Expert knowledge of construction industry and company operations

- Strong safety culture implementation experience

- Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and professional judgment skills

- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
