## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious lawyer to join our corporate team. As a corporate lawyer at Freshfields, you will advise clients on a wide range of corporate and finance law matters.

Key responsibilities include:

- Advising clients on corporate and finance law matters

- Drafting and negotiating corporate/M&A contracts, equity and debt capital markets documentation

- Managing transactions and performing legal due diligences

- Managing client relationships

- Participating in business development activities and client events

- Training and managing junior team members

To qualify, you should have:

- A Belgian law degree with first-class academic records

- A post-graduate degree (an asset)

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take on a high degree of responsibility

- Creativity, curiosity, and rigour

- Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French
