As a Front End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare, you will find not only rewarding work in your community, but a team focused on providing a supportive and innovative team environment for all members.

Day-to-day, you will perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required

- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions

- Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely returns

- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items

- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, as required by state law

- One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in the long-term care industry and PTCB National Certification.

This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 35.

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.65 per hour.
