## Description

We are seeking a Senior CFD Methodology Engineer to join our team at Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team in Faenza, Italy.

As a Senior CFD Methodology Engineer, you will support the development and investigation of new technologies to improve CFD tools and ensure they are at the leading edge of F1 technology. You will oversee junior engineers, improve CFD correlation with wind tunnels and tracks, and collaborate with other teams to achieve department targets.

Responsibilities:

- Support the development and investigation of new CFD methodologies

- Oversee junior CFD methodology engineers

- Improve CFD correlation with wind tunnels and tracks

- Collaborate with other teams to achieve department targets

- Communicate effectively with other groups within the company

- Execute day-to-day tasks with priority and quality standards

- Manage support requests from aerodynamicists regarding CFD tools

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within an F1 team or high-performance motorsport environment

- PhD or Master's degree in fluid dynamics and/or numerical methods

- Familiarity with CFD codes and Linux systems

- Experience with CFD software such as Open Foam, Fluent, or ANSA

- Experience with C++, Python, and bash

- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

- Self-motivated and flexible approach to working hours
