### Job Summary

Join Temporal Technologies as a Senior Application Security Engineer, playing a crucial role in securing the company's development pipeline, product, and customer execution environment. You will collaborate with software engineering teams and customers to integrate security into the platform across multiple clouds.

### Responsibilities

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security principles into product design and architecture.

- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors.

- Manage the Secure Development pipeline, including code security and third-party library supply chain security.

- Stay updated on emerging standards and translate them into actionable internal policies.

- Triage Bug Bounty findings and responsibly disclosed vulnerabilities.

- Participate in on-call rotations.

### Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience in application or product security.

- Proven ability to partner with engineering teams, bringing security expertise to the planning and development process.

- Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and secure communication protocols.

- Familiarity with tools like SAST, DAST, and penetration testing frameworks.

- Deep understanding of application architecture and design principles.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with Kubernetes security posture management and auditing.

- Demonstrated experience with multi-tenant security architecture.

- Expertise in at least one programming language, with familiarity with Python and Go.

### Nice to Have

- Distributed computing and related vulnerability experience.

- Experience running a Security Champions program.

- Involvement in open-source automation or automation projects.

- Expertise in other areas of security.

- Security conference talks or published research.

### Compensation

- Estimated pay range: $180,000 - $225,000, depending on qualifications and location.
