## Description

We are seeking a Lead Child Protection Practitioner to join our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team within the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service. As a Lead Child Protection Practitioner, you will have a comprehensive knowledge and skill base to work with vulnerable children and families. You will have sound knowledge of services from the front door, through to long-term work, and looked-after children and care leavers.

The successful candidate will have:

- a relevant professional Social Work degree or equivalent

- current registration with Social Work England

- substantial post-qualifying experience

- experience of managing and developing staff and best practice

- evidence of continuing professional development

The role involves working with children in need of protection and contributing to organisational learning through recognising, promoting, and supporting best practice and service development. The salary for this role is GBP 62,634 - 67,083 per year, and it is a full-time, on-site position.
