## Description

We are seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to join the South London Legal Partnership (SLLP), an in-house legal service for several London boroughs. You will be part of a team of around 150-160 staff providing a high standard of service to the local authorities. The role involves managing a diverse workload related to commercial property asset management, such as sales, purchases, leases, and licences. You should have a good understanding of land title matters and relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a commercial property solicitor or Legal Executive, although we will consider candidates with less experience. Local authority experience is desirable but not essential.

As a team player, you should be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work to tight timescales. SLLP values its staff and offers a supportive environment with opportunities for development. The salary for this role is £56,058 - £60,393 per annum, plus a £4,000 market supplement payment and a £3,000 welcome payment for new employees to Merton Council.
