## Description

At Morrisons, we're proud to produce high-quality meat products for our customers in-store and our external partners. We're looking for Manufacturing Key Operatives at our manufacturing site working in our abattoir, to complete various duties such as machine operation, basic maintenance, Oracle and other system transactions, stock control, and online quality checking, all in line with training.

Working at pace in a safe, efficient, and hygienic manner, you'll perform a range of complex tasks. Safety is a top priority as you'll be working with equipment such as handheld trimmers with rotating blades, clippers, Materials Handling Equipment, and Electric Pump Trucks, so you'll be required to complete all relevant health and safety training to ensure that the safest work practices are adhered to.

You'll be the kind of person who:

- Is able to work in an abattoir environment

- Can work in temperatures between 2-32 degrees, and in a noisy environment where hearing protection must be worn

- Has some experience in a food manufacturing environment (desirable)

- Is able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chainmail gloves and maintain concentration when undertaking repetitive work

- Is physically able to lift up to 2.5kg up to a height of 1.7m

- Can complete and comply with relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety
