As Director, Epidemiology, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a senior methodological leader within Fortrea Consulting. - Lead the design and oversight of complex epidemiologic and real-world evidence research programs.

- Ensure scientific rigor, methodological excellence, and regulatory relevance across client deliverables.

- Communicate complex scientific concepts and study findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including regulatory, payer, and executive stakeholders.

**Client Delivery & Strategic Consulting**

- Lead client engagements and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

- Deliver strategic epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, and real-world evidence expertise across a broad range of consulting assignments.

- Manage multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Provide expert guidance on study design, data strategy, and analytical approaches to address client business and scientific objectives.

- Drive quality, innovation, and excellence across all client-facing activities.

**Business Development & Practice Growth**

- Contribute to the identification, pursuit, and successful delivery of new business opportunities.

- Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships through exceptional scientific leadership and service delivery.

- Lead the epidemiology component of proposals, study scoping, budgeting activities, bid defenses, and capability presentations.

- Support the continued growth and market positioning of Fortrea Consulting through thought leadership and industry engagement.

**Innovation & Thought Leadership**

- Advance Fortrea's epidemiology and real-world evidence capabilities through innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Author and contribute to scientific publications, white papers, conference presentations, and industry thought leadership activities.

- Help define best practices that strengthen methodological excellence, scientific credibility, and evidence-generation standards across the organization.

**People Leadership**

- Mentor, coach, and develop epidemiologists and multidisciplinary consulting professionals.

- Support talent development, succession planning, and recruitment activities.

- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.

- Lead project teams and provide performance guidance and professional development support.

**What We Are Looking For**

- Doctoral-level degree in Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Public Health, or a related quantitative health science discipline.

- Demonstrated scientific leadership and technical expertise in epidemiology applied to non-interventional and real-world evidence research.

- Proven success leading client engagements and managing multidisciplinary project teams.

- Experience developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and global teams.

**Required Experience**

- A minimum of 10 years of experience applying epidemiological methods within consulting, CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, academic, or related environments, including significant non-interventional research experience.

- Doctoral-level candidates with at least 8 years of relevant experience will also be considered.

- Strong business development, consulting, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience working within multidisciplinary environments spanning epidemiology, market access, biostatistics, healthcare analytics, and health economics.
