## Description

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Pediatric team.

This as-needed position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and passionate group focused on providing excellent pediatric care. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients affected by injury or disease

- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards

- Document patient information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans

- Educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises

- Demonstrate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of patients

- Treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders

- Follow and adhere to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations

- Exhibit flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules and assignments

- Participate in activities to promote the department and Sanford Health

- Supervise assistants, aides, and students as needed

- Provide ongoing education and training to peers

Qualifications:

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure

- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment

Salary Range: $35.00 - $52.00 per hour
