## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Central Technology team, specifically within the Security division. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end data science initiatives to detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and other security threats.

Responsibilities:

- Lead data science initiatives from problem definition to model deployment and monitoring

- Design and develop statistical and machine learning models to detect security threats

- Build scalable features and detection frameworks using gameplay telemetry and player behavior data

- Investigate complex abuse patterns and translate insights into actionable recommendations

- Establish best practices for model evaluation and monitoring

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven prevention strategies

- Mentor junior data scientists and promote reusable data science practices

Required Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field

- Strong proficiency in Python or R and advanced SQL

- Experience leading end-to-end machine learning projects

- Expertise building statistical or machine learning models using large-scale datasets

- Strong understanding of model evaluation and performance measurement

- Experience engineering features from complex datasets and translating business problems into analytical solutions

- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering and product teams

- Experience mentoring technical teammates and communicating complex insights to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in gaming, anti-cheat, trust & safety, or other adversarial environments

- Experience developing detection frameworks, risk scoring models, or anomaly detection systems

- Familiarity with gameplay telemetry, player behavior analytics, or live-service game operations

- Experience operationalizing ML solutions with cloud and data platforms

- Experience balancing detection effectiveness with player experience and business impact
