## Description

We are seeking an Agile Dev Team Member I with primarily a development or testing discipline to join our team. As an Agile Dev Team Member I, you will have collective responsibility for the design, development, testing and/or deployment of system functionality.

You will provide technical feasibility using basic coding methods and adhere to coding standards to ensure consistent style and format. You will ensure systems are high in code and component quality, and are easily modified to support future requirements with frequent support and guidance of more senior developers or architects.

Alternatively, as an Agile Dev Team Member I with primarily a testing discipline, you will ensure the end product meets the business acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements. You will define and execute tests early, often, and at multiple levels.

**Responsibilities**

- Demonstrate understanding of customer needs by interpreting basic process or system solutions and providing input into system design

- Effectively write and refine user stories, including clear and accurate acceptance criteria

- Perform basic impact assessment relating people, processes and/or technology, and estimate user stories using relative sizing of story points

- Partner with the Product Owner to confirm code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality

- Demonstrate understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to build in quality

- Develop, document, execute, and maintain test cases and test data

- Report status of test plan execution through defect logs and defect tracking system

- Analyze test results and assist with trouble-shooting and root cause analysis

**Requirements**

- 1 to 3 years relevant experience

- Guidewire, Policy Center, Gosu, Guidewire Data Model Extension

- Working REST/SOAP and Java/J2EE knowledge
