## Description

We are seeking a qualified Bill of Materials Administrator to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Raymond, Ohio. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of Regional Specification Control Operations and will be responsible for managing and administering North American Regional and Global engineering drawings, as well as manufacturing design revision issuance for North American and global plants.

The Bill of Materials Administrator will develop, configure, manage, and verify technical data within the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) through the execution of Engineering Design Changes (EDCs) and manufacturing revisions. They will support North American manufacturing plants by implementing Manufacturing Instructions and engineering changes accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing engineering technical records and project information related to design changes and Bill of Materials (BOM) updates within the BEAM system

- Reviewing engineering drawings and validating part hierarchy, structure changes, application settings, quantities, and effective dates

- Interpreting regional and global supply agreements to ensure accurate distribution of data to manufacturing plants

- Configuring and maintaining vehicle applications, feature lists, and frame, engine, transmission, and differential combinations

- Supporting supplier and factory instruction issuance through change-point management, reason code application, and VIN tracking requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S., or equivalent) or a combination of education and relevant professional experience

- 0 to 4 years of experience in Part Drawing Control, Engineering Change Management, or a related field

- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Parts List validation processes

- Understanding of Specification Notice procedures, including Design Change (DC) and Manufacturing Instruction (MI) issuance and management

- Familiarity with Honda Engineering Standards and engineering documentation practices

- Working knowledge of CATIA or similar CAD systems
