## Description

We are seeking a Tech Operations Professional who is passionate about operational excellence, automation, and delivering seamless customer experiences to join our team. As a Manager, Tech Operations, you will be on the forefront of driving operational reliability and transformation across Capital One.

**Responsibilities:**

- Drive operational excellence by developing metrics and dashboards to monitor service performance, availability, and end-user satisfaction

- Oversee implementation and ongoing improvement of monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices to ensure rapid issue detection and resolution

- Partner with engineering and security teams to identify opportunities for automation, tooling, and process optimization that enhance reliability and reduce manual effort

- Establish and maintain documentation standards and knowledge management practices to ensure consistency across teams and locations

- Lead and develop teams to support business growth, service goals, and compliance with corporate policies, standards, and security regulations

**Basic Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

- At least 4 years of experience managing IT projects or operations teams

- At least 6 years of Technical Operations experience

- At least 3 years of people management experience

- At least 6 years of experience in IT systems and infrastructure

- At least 6 years of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems

- At least 6 years of experience in technical operations or end-user technical support

- At least 4 years of experience managing system monitoring and incident response processes at the enterprise level

- At least 4 years of experience leading automation initiatives or workflow improvements within operational teams

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's Degree or military experience

- 5+ years of people management experience

- 6+ years of experience in Project Management (planning, executing, tracking)

- 7+ years of experience with IT systems and infrastructure

- ITIL or Cloud Certification

- 4+ years of experience defining, implementing, and leveraging process (change, incident, problem) management functions

- Experience developing and reporting operational KPIs or service-level objectives

- Experience collaborating with engineering or product teams to improve platform reliability and service continuity

- Experience managing vendor relationships or third-party service providers supporting technology operations

**Salary Information:**

- Cambridge, MA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Tech Operations

- Chicago, IL: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Tech Operations

- McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Tech Operations

- Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Tech Operations
