## Description

GDIT is seeking a Business Development Director to lead and execute growth for its Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) business area.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of successfully closing business on large and strategic opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Federal Health Growth organization.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within CMS

- Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with customers and partners

- Shape opportunities and GDIT's position throughout the opportunity life cycle

- Formulate and support the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture, and proposal strategy

- Establish value-added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures

- Develop marketing strategies and provide input into market account plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales/Business Development

- Extensive background developing business focused on IT Services, Lifecycle Software development, Data Analytics, and Mission support services

- Proven success developing and winning opportunities in CMS

- Experience with Federal budgets, investments, and acquisition processes

- Hybrid role based in Falls Church, VA, or Windsor Mill, MD, with an expectation of being onsite three days per week

The likely salary range for this position is $187,179 - $253,000.
