## Description

We are seeking a Director to lead a team of talented associates supporting strategic initiatives within Card Tech and across the company.

The successful candidate will have executive-level communication skills, the ability to navigate and solve complex problems, and engage leaders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the Card Tech+ finance team, driving forward the team's agenda, and supporting the growth and development of associates

- Providing strategic advice to key partners by leveraging financial insights to influence actions and results

- Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and providing regular updates on strategic initiatives

- Communicating analytic insights through clear, high-impact presentations

- Creating connections across the team and organisation to drive collaboration and outcomes

- Owning budget and forecast accuracy for areas of responsibility

- Evaluating analytical results and formulating recommendations using sound business judgment

- Accurately analysing and explaining key cost drivers and annual financial trajectory

- Providing strategic insights and suggesting actions to the business and finance

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related quantitative discipline, or military experience

- At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or Strategy Consulting

- At least 4 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function

- At least 3 years of people management experience

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance

- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure

- 8+ years of experience in FP&A

- 5+ years of experience managing an FP&A function

- 4+ years of people management experience

In terms of salary, Capital One is offering a range of $206,000 - $235,100 for this role in McLean, VA, and $187,300 - $213,700 in Richmond, VA.
