## Description

Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) seeks an Associate ATE System Engineer to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system testing and verification, with a focus on automation and compliance with DO-178C standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop validation plans, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), and traceability to requirements.

- Develop solutions to complex instrumentation and test automation problems, primarily for calibration processes.

- End-to-end development of automated test software, including analyzing test requirements, understanding measurement and test instruments, identifying communication requirements, and developing software to automate the test process.

- Interface with various hardware systems and equipment, requiring familiarity with different types of measurement and test equipment and troubleshooting practices.

- Produce documentation at every stage of the software development life cycle.

- Work collaboratively with strong teaming skills, flexible hours, and a positive attitude.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Material Sciences, or non-US equivalent qualifications.

- Understanding of complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for avionics systems.

- Experience with Hardware-in-loop (HiL) architecture, Plant model creation, debugging, and bug fixes.

- Hands-on experience with test engineering application software such as NI LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real Time, and LabVIEW FPGA.

- Experience in using Python, C, C#, VB for instrument communication.

- Extensive knowledge and experience in test discipline, test strategy, test authoring, and review.

- Strong knowledge of various types of measurement and test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Awareness of AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management system and ISO 17025 standard.

Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 4 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master + 3 years' related work experience).
