## The Role

As a Sales Development Representative – Americas at Carta, you will work to fill the top of the funnel, own outbound prospecting, and book qualified meetings for the Sales Directors.

## The Team You'll Work With

You'll be joining our Americas Sales team, reporting to the Sales Development Director, and working alongside Sales Directors and fellow SDRs.

## The Problems You'll Solve

Your responsibilities will include:

- Filling the top of the funnel through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and digital outreach

- Building a pipeline the team can close from by developing sharp, well-researched prospect target lists

- Keeping the CRM clean and current by maintaining accurate records of all sales activity and client interactions

- Assisting in preparing sales collateral and presentations

- Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments

## About You

To succeed in this role, you should:

- Have 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales role

- Be a strong communicator who can engage effectively with sophisticated prospects

- Be organized and self-directed, managing your own pipeline and prioritizing effectively

- Have a working understanding of CRM systems and sales tracking tools

- Be flexible and growth-oriented, adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment

## Salary

The salary range for this role is $98,347.20 OTE / ($33.34/hour) - $109,995.20 OTE / ($38.94/hour) in New York City, New York.
