We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate in the Institutional Client Group Coverage, CIB.

In this role you will:

- Support the growth strategy of the business and manage risk on the portfolio.

- Develop a thorough understanding of the client base.

- Provide assistance to coverage team members.

- Undertake analysis and prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches for new products and services.

- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and concerns.

- Liaise with regional counterparts and internal stakeholders.

- Contribute to individual client plans and revenue growth.

- Prepare relevant analysis, proposals, credit applications, and reviews.

- Ensure compliance with internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.

- Act as the First Line of Defence against Financial Crime and manage credit risk.

To be successful you will need:

- Knowledge of the Hong Kong financial industry and local/global institutional client market and regulatory environment.

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.

- Preferably knowledge of HSBC Group and products, with a strong network of contacts.

- Advanced understanding of risk management, risk mitigation, and Client Due Diligence risks.

- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, sales, and communication skills.

- Highly motivated and able to work under pressure.

- Ability to form effective relationships and exercise influence at senior levels.

- Strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation.

- Uphold the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for HSBC values and business principles.
