**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Primary Quality contact for pre-impregnated composite projects at the Sheffield facility

- Work with Customer quality representative to establish and manage suitable product standards and processes

- Provide dedicated Quality representation for allocated project / area in meetings, team events and day-to-day activities

- Development and approval of visual quality standards for cosmetic vehicle components including approval documentation

- Support the implementation of new production technologies at MCTC Sheffield

- Develop Quality metrics and drive their implementation

- Support the team in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using a Practical Problem Solving approach

- Lead the application of Quality tools (such as PFMEA, SPC and MSA) in the allocated area

- Support MCTC Supplier Quality representative on incoming material issues and generate actions which improve the incoming material quality

- Support the development of measurement techniques for new products

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Support all aspects of Quality for the assigned area of responsibility

- Deliver all aspects of Quality activity in line with targets, KPIs and milestones

- Support the containment of Quality Concern Reports (QCR) within 24 hours

- Support the resolution of Quality concerns using a structured approach to problem solving (PPS, 8D or similar)

- Build effective cross functional relationships and contribute to achieving a high-performance team environment

- Responsible for defining the visual inspection process to be operated in production

- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of quality documentation to support new and on-going activities

- Development and approval of visual quality standards for cosmetic vehicle components including approval documentation

- Responsible for collection and reporting results to the Leadership team

**Requirements:**

- Automotive core tools certification is essential

- Experience of pre-impregnated composite production is essential

- Experience of working with automotive paint and preparation processes of carbon parts is essential

- Experience in automotive manufacturing is advantageous

- Knowledge of Automotive quality systems is advantageous

- Auditing to established quality standards (IATF 16949) is desirable

- Experience of niche vehicle (low volume) programmes desirable

- Excellent communication and I.T. skills

- Experience of Minitab software is desirable
