## Description

Cloudflare is looking for an Associate, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join its lean IR team and help power how it engages with Wall Street. The successful candidate will be a core contributor to the quarterly earnings cycle, consensus and financial modeling work, investor events, and strategic finance projects for senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Support the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including drafting and assembling press releases, supplemental financial information, and investor decks

- Build and maintain the consensus model, collecting and analyzing sell-side estimates and models, and benchmarking them against internal forecasts

- Support the guidance process, including share count forecasting and sensitivity analyses

- Drive tie-out and validation work to ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial materials

- Help prepare for earnings Q&A, including anticipating questions and preparing key stats and proof points

- Coordinate the post-earnings analyst callback program

- Support day-to-day engagement with sell-side analysts and institutional investors

- Help plan and run investor events, including sell-side conferences and one-on-ones

- Prepare briefing materials for the CEO, CFO, and other executives ahead of investor meetings

- Maintain core IR collateral, including the investor presentation and fact sheets

- Analyze shareholder ownership and support investor targeting

- Support the planning and execution of the annual Investor Day

- Contribute to strategic finance projects, such as peer benchmarking and competitive analyses

- Monitor and synthesize analyst coverage, peer results, and industry trends into clear, actionable summaries for leadership

- Build and maintain models, dashboards, and validation tools

- Use AI-native tooling and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and insight across the IR function

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing

- Strong financial modeling skills, including building and maintaining operating models and consensus models

- Solid understanding of financial statements, public-company reporting, and valuation

- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise materials for senior executives

- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in getting every number right

- An ownership mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- High-trust collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with teams across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Communications

- AI-native curiosity and skill, with fluency with modern AI tooling

- Sound judgment with confidential information, including awareness of materiality and fair disclosure

- Genuine interest in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and the public markets

Compensation:

- Estimated annual salary of $117,000 - $161,000 for Bay Area-based hires
