## Description

SpaceXAI is seeking a Controls Technician to support implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems for data centers and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in implementing and modifying BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems for data centers.

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot critical systems like chillers, pumps, and power distribution.

- Support preparation and updating of HMI graphics and interfaces.

- Maintain automated controls for fire safety and emergency shutdown procedures.

- Monitor and report on key metrics like PUE and infrastructure performance.

- Coordinate with teams to respond to utility grid events.

Basic Qualifications:

- Associate's Degree in a technical field like Controls Technology or equivalent experience.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a technician working with industrial control systems.

- Experience with Ignition SCADA or similar programming.

- Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or equivalent PLC programming.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial equipment using IEC 61131-3 languages.

- Experience with hardware from Siemens, SEL, Rockwell, or similar.

- Basic knowledge of HMI development tools like Ignition.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.

- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

- Ability to manage tasks independently in a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

- Ability to work extended periods standing, in tight quarters, and exposed to noise.

- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

- Ability to lift or carry 10-15lbs.

- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random drug/alcohol testing.
