## Description

We are seeking a Food Manager to lead our team in Herne Bay, Kent. As a Food Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of shopkeeping and customer service.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Role model and coach team members to achieve high standards and efficiency across the food hall

- Manage compliance with processes while maintaining passion and flair for great shopkeeping and customer service

- Ensure customers get the food they want when shopping with us

- Manage performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure scheduling and pay are accurate

- Assume overall responsibility for running the store at times, providing direction and support to colleagues

**Requirements:**

- Previous line management experience in a fast-paced operational environment

- Experience providing excellent customer service and coaching a team to do the same

- Ability to deliver KPIs and manage disciplinaries, performance issues, and employee relations

- Leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced operational setting
